Post Modernism and the Decline of Liberty.

Americans are often decried as illiterates and morons especially in areas based in the natural sciences. It is true that only a fool would still try to oppose natural selection but is there perhaps some truth in the fears that ordinary people have about wizards in white coats? Sure opposition to vaccination is pretty ridiculous. However if post modernism had not triumphed in public classrooms (as a reaction to the more obvious nastiness of the 1950s) would state "managers" be able to peddle the ADHD racket? If psychiatrists did not bully the miserable and the poor would Scientology have a leg to stand on? Getting your brain fried is probably worse than getting a slap on the hand. I don't like either but a mosquito bite is tolerable compared to cancer. The following attachment is authored by a conservative ( I think) yet the point of view would be supported by most libertarian socialists or at least the ones I have met. Everywhere a more libertarian outlook is taking hold which may explain why ALL governments feel under seige. He blames "feminism" in general for the current situation. I would argue there some aspects of statist feminism that deserve this criticism. Anyway see what you think.
